All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE 2024) notification released for admission into 6th & 9th Classes. AISSEE is for admission into total 33 Sainik Schools across the country by NTA for academic year 2024-25. AISSEE-2024 Online applications are available from 11th November, 2023 to 16th December, 2023 up to 05:00 PM. Interested candidates can register for this entrance test from official website https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.
All India Sainik School Entrance Test (AISSEE-2024) Notification
National Testing Agency (NTA) has this year released the notification and started registrations for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2024). Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They prepare cadets for the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other training academies.
Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved 19 new Sainik Schools. Admission to Class 6 of new Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25 will be done through AISSEE 2024. These approved New Sainik Schools function under the aegis of Sainik Schools Society. Admission to the Sainik School stream of Class VI of the New Sainik Schools, for the academic year 2024-25 is also through AISSEE-2024.
Eligibility Conditions for AISSEE 2024 Entrance
Class VI Eligibility:
- A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2024 for admission to Class VI, i.e. Students should have been born between 01 April 2012 and 31 March 2014 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2024-25.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class VI: Age criteria is same as for boys. Candidates are advised to check the availability of seats for girls from Appendix VI-A carefully.
Class IX Eligibility:
- A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2024, for admission to Class IX, i.e. students should have been born between 01 April 2009 and 31 March 2011 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2024-25.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteria is same as boys.
- Students should have passed Class VIII exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.
For admission to Approved New Sainik Schools:
Admission to approved New Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25 in the Sainik School Stream is only at the level of Class VI.
AISSEE 2024: Online Application Form
Candidates can apply for AISSEE 2024 “Online” only on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/. The Application Form other than online mode will not be accepted. Application form is common for admission to both Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools.
Candidates must ensure that e-mail address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own or that of their parents, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the given e-mail address or SMS on given mobile number only.
Examination Fee:
- General/Wards of Defence personnel and ex-servicemen/OBC(NCL): 650/-
- SC/ST: 500/-
Steps for Filling Sainik School Online Application Form 2024
Time needed: 15 minutes
Before proceeding with filling online application form of 6th & 9th Classes of Sainik School entrance students are informed to download and read the AISSEE-2024 information bulletin carefully available at official website.
- Apply for Online Registration
Register online using unique Email ID and Mobile No.
- Fill Online Application Form
Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No. Upload the following documents
- Pay Examination Fee.
Pay fee using SBI Bank Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the transaction is cancelled and amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
